There is tension, freshness and a purity of fruit, a major departure from the viscous, high octane style you may or may not associate with Zinfandel.  The elevation and soils are the perfect place to produce Zin with brambly fruit that isn’t rustic, dense with a sense of vibrancy.  Brenae Royal is absolutely killing it at one of CA’s most iconic vineyards and we are lucky enough to get our hands on a small piece of this California legacy.
